Overview[]
- Destroy Striders and aquire 5 Black Boxes from the downed machines. In addition, defeat Thrax Technicians and acquire 5 Key Codes. Return to Major Jones at the Gangus Supply Annex once all items are acquired.

Briefing[]
- I've never seen so many Striders in one area in my life. I really need to see those Striders destroyed and, better yet, find out where their staging ground is.
- No time for idle chat, soldier.
- This high concentration of Striders is taking its toll on us, to the point of turning the tide of battle in the Bane's favor. It seems the more we destroy, the more Striders the Bane send at us. These things aren't easy to send around the planet in large forces, so that tells me that there's a staging ground somewhere in the Howling Maw region.
- We can't seem to get close enough to any of the Bane bases to find out where the staging ground is. So, your job will be to take down some Striders and remove their Black Boxes. The encrypted data in those boxes could possibly tell us where that staging ground is. However, we can't debug that data without the key code from Thrax Technicians. In addition to the Striders, take out Thrax Technicians and get their key codes. Get back to me when you have the Black Boxes and the key codes. You're best bet is to go north - you can't miss the things, they're huge.

Walkthrough[]
Level 48-50 Striders roam all around the Toma Springs area. They can be tough to take down, but you can use the help of the AFS forces if need be. Kill five Striders to get the black boxes. For the key codes, any Thrax Technician anywhere in Howling Maw will drop them. It should be easy to do. Once gathered, simply return to Major Jones.
