Shield Drones are occasionally dropped alongside groups of bane soldiers, to protect them from physical damage. Shield color show you how much dmg type are reflected (1:1 ratio).

Shield Drones are very susceptible to EMP damage, always take our the shield drone before engaging the Bane it is protecting. An EMP rifle at range is the weapon of choice as the shotgun variant wont actually damage any of the other units around the drone anyway. Damage other than EMP shot from outside the shield bubble will be reflected back to the player.

Physical Traits Small robotic construct used for mobile defense. Shield Drones hover approximately 2 meters above the ground. Damage Type Electrical, Energy Special Attacks Shield Drones can create a force field around Bane troops that protects them. Any non-bane organism within the field is drained of energy and if the Drone is attacked, it may emit an electrical shock to the aggressor. Armor Heavy Armor Weakness Being a mechanized unit, EMP weapons are effective in disrupting a Drone’s systems and ultimately destroying them. Attack Range Radial, Melee Deployment The amount of Shield Drones in a given area is contingent on the Bane presence in that area. A single shield drone can protect a small unit of 6-8 Bane troops.
