Cavalon is a Shield Drone boss located in Splitfinger Forest in Pools. He is one of the 10 bosses in the Pools Targets of Opportunity mission.

He can be found around -315, 467 wandering along path and is accompanied by 2 Bane infantry units and 2 Thrax Technicians.
Sighted and killed at -339, 481 along a path west of Retread Camp on 19 July 2008. He respawned there twice on top of me as I was writing this in another window.
Got mine at -123, 330.
Try generally west and south of the Retread Camp along the path that runs NW to SE.
Iceram patrols closely nearby to the west going south to north then west and back.
